Description

Agile software development enables organizations to deliver software faster, with greater flexibility and improved collaboration. However, many organizations still struggle to achieve predictable delivery, objective performance measurement and effective governance. Traditional contracts and project steering methods often focus on effort rather than delivered business value.

NEN NPR 5333 provides a practical framework for output-based performance management and contracting by combining internationally recognized standards, Functional Size Measurement (Function Points), software quality metrics and Agile performance indicators. Instead of managing hours and activities, organizations learn to steer on measurable business output, software quality and customer value.

During this training participants gain practical insight into the principles of output-based performance management, how to apply NEN NPR 5333, the use of objective software metrics and Function Points, and the implementation of output-based contracts that improve predictability, transparency and collaboration between clients and suppliers.

Audience Profile

CIOs, IT directors/managers, sourcing managers, vendor managers, contract managers, portfolio managers, project managers, Product Owners and professionals involved in software sourcing or Agile software delivery.
