AI Escape Room, the Team Battle Edition
Description
AI Escape Room – Team Battle Edition is a large‑scale, competitive learning experience designed to make AI literacy active, social, and memorable. Participants explore Artificial Intelligence through short, high‑impact challenges, ethical dilemmas, and decision‑making scenarios — while competing against other teams.
Abstract concepts such as AI risks, hallucinations, bias, explainability, human oversight, and regulation are turned into shared experiences under time pressure.
Not a lecture.
Not a demo.
Learning through competition, experience, and reflection.
The Team Battle Edition is for large groups only. For smaller groups, see the AI Escape Room.
The Storyline
You enter a world shaped by tension between two opposing forces:
Max Cornelisse
A radical innovator who believes speed, experimentation, and creative freedom are the key to AI‑driven progress.
Dr. Sabine Charter
A firm believer in ethics, accountability, and strict enforcement of AI regulation to protect organizations and society.
Teams are repeatedly forced to choose:
move fast or slow down,
trust the model or verify,
optimize for innovation or compliance.
Every decision influences the outcome — and the final leaderboard.
The Science Behind It
Experiential Learning (Kolb, 1984)
Understanding AI improves when participants actively experience uncertainty, failure, and trade‑offs.
The Team Battle Edition deliberately cycles through action, reflection, and reframing.
Social & Competitive Learning
Teams negotiate meaning under time pressure, making their assumptions and biases visible.
Competition increases engagement; reflection turns it into insight.
