Developing Java Enterprise applications using the Java Enterprise 7 Edition and how to integrate with JPA
Description
Java EE 7 is a very productive and developer friendly stack. The amount of technology is large however, and it's hard to get started without following a course. This course is designed for experienced Java developers who do not have a lot experience with Java EE yet. In this course you will learn to develop applications and services using the latest Java EE technology.
In the course you'll learn to build enterprise applications using a mix of EJB 3.2, JPA 2.1 and CDI 1.1 and RESTful Web Services using JAX-RS. This will provide you with all the tools to build compelling applications. The course is entirely based on the Java EE 7 standards which makes the knowledge portable to every Java EE 7 compatible application server.
Note: In this course JPA itself is not treated, we will only look how to integrate JPA with the other JEE technologies
Prior Knowledge
A mature knowledge of the java language and JPA is essential. Knowledge of older JEE releases is not necessary.
