course
Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP): Data Fundamentals
Manage data as an asset to create value from it

Description
Our digital world is becoming increasingly complex and data-driven: our processes run on data, we need reports and dashboards to manage the company, and our AI systems are powered by data as well. Organizations increasingly realize that data is the new water: it flows between processes and systems, and is crucial for survival. If we want to use data for value creation, then we need to manage data as an asset. This three-day course prepares for the DAMA CDMP – Data Fundamentals exam. We cover all knowledge areas in turn, and discuss the theory in the DMBOK, practical examples, and practice questions for the exam. The balance between theory and practice is about 70%/30%. The course prepares for, but does not include, the exam.
