Tim Gerry Geerts

Hello, I am Tim Geerts. After studying Applied Computer Science, I started working at Info Support as an IT Consultant and teacher.

It’s difficult to study when a subject isn’t interesting. I found that out during my high school education in history class. The pure theory just wouldn’t stick, and that’s when I realized that hours of staring at books wasn’t an effective way to work. Heavy subject matter turns into a fun and manageable story when you demonstrate it with a good example, and that’s how the lesson sticks better.

That’s why I always teach with a constructive example. Together with the students, I apply the theory of each chapter live, and then everything becomes immediately visible. Of course, those examples don’t always work the first time, but then we can search together for what went wrong and learn from the mistakes.

In my free time, I like to play sports and learn Japanese.
