As an engineer, you know that AI is all about algorithms and models, but the real challenge lies in how you interact with it.

You forgive mistakes made by humans, but not by machines. You talk to chatbots as if they were human, yet you hesitate as soon as systems start making decisions on their own. You use AI as a copilot to work smarter and sometimes adopt its suggestions almost automatically, while at the same time wondering what that means for our your role.

In this session, you’ll explore AI through the lens of psychology: why our trust often swings between too little and too much, why we expect perfection, and what that reveals about our need for certainty, control, and identity.
