In this practical session, we will explore the concepts of Langchain together, a toolkit for AI integration, and how it can be practically used in your (Java) application.

You will work on a use-case with Langchain and we will show how Langchain’s tools can be deployed within Java, Python, and JavaScript projects, with directly applicable code examples.

You will not only learn how to smoothly integrate AI into your apps, but also about Langchain’s toolbox, the production readiness, and the critical view on the potential risks of AI integration.

The goal is that after this talk, you are armed with the knowledge to start working with Langchain yourself, with a critical but open view on the possibilities that AI offers.

Requirements: An IDE (preferably IntelliJ) with an installed OpenJDK17+ (or Zulu) and Maven.

Target audience: Developers who want to integrate AI into their Java, Javascript, or Python application. The use-case is worked out in Java, but concepts can also be applied within Javascript and Python.
