My name is Simona Colapicchioni.
I have been teaching C#, .NET, .NET Core and web technologies on both the back-end and front-end since 2004 and have been developing desktop and web applications for 10 years.
To properly understand and explain a subject, I need to know every detail. These details allow me to understand what goes on behind the scenes, the reasons behind certain designs, certain technologies, certain choices. This is the kind of information I like to give to my students. Not just the how, but also the why. I want people to understand the subject, not just memorize concepts.
I like to stay up to date and I have seen technologies, tools and processes change over time. This knowledge offers me the opportunity to give the participants a better awareness of the current possibilities in IT.
I know the overwhelming feeling of the novice programmer who still has a whole world to learn and the struggle of the experienced programmer who has to keep up with the pace. While the students are doing the exercises, I initiate one-on-one conversations with each student to personalize the lesson and fill in the gaps each student may have.
